                                                                      DETACHMENT

Detachment also expressed as non-attachment, is a state in which a person overcomes his or her attachment to desire for things, people or concepts of the world. In other word detach-ment meant like being away from the worldly happiness and saddness. We human beings like attaching things for our present and future generation. But we fail to detach the things which can give tempory enjoyments. As I understand the detachment means like having things more. We don't give to the needy because we have attachment to the things. Detachment as release from and consequently from suffering is important principle, or even ideal.

Christianity view : Ignatian emphasis of Christian spirituality emphasizes interior freedom. To choose rightly, we should strive to be free of personal preferences, superfluous attachments and performed opinions.St.Ignatius of Loyola counseled radical detachment "We should not fix our desires on health or sickness, wealth or poverty, success or failure, a long life or short one."

Our one goal is the freedom to make a wholehearted choice to follow God. Most Christian dem-ominations never mention detachment in general. Many other spiritual traditions identify the lack of detachment with the continuous worries and restlessness produced by desire and personal ambitions. The essence of detachment is for man to turn his face towards the courts of the Lord, to enter His presence, behold His Countenance, and stands witness before Him. De-tachment is a central concept in Zen Buddhist philosophy. One of the most important technical Chinese terms for detachment in English is 'no thoughts.'Therefore, detachment is being det-ached from one's thoughts. It is to separate oneself from one's own thoughts and opinions in details is to not be harmed mentally and emotionally by them. In Religious circle we use the ter-m 'renunciation'. The Hindu view of detachment comes from the understanding of the nature of existence and the true ultimate state sought is that of being in the moment. In other words, while one is responsible and active, one not worries about the past or future. In detachment is towards the result of one's actions rather than towards everything in life. One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the SupremeLord, is unaffected by sinful action, as the lotus is untouched by water.(Bhagavad Gita 5.10).

SEXUAL MORALITY Devan

Sexual Morality means morality with respect to sexual relations. It's also concern with the distinction between good and evil or right and wrong; right or conduct. Christian sexual morality is mostly positive, not negative. Along side an assortment of thou shalt not, the Bible is pervaded by a positive teaching that men and women were created for each other and that marriage is holy and blessed. (Genesis2:24).So the criterion of all sexual behavior is not merely whether it vio-lates a "thou shalt not "-it's also whether it's on track relative to God' plan. Does this mean that only married people are first –class citizens of God's Kingdom? The answer is No. There are many reasons why it might be God's will for a particular person not to marry .Don't consider  yourself inferior if you are not married.God may have special plans for you..Many great saints have been single people. Although Christianity is commonly thought to be a religion based on Jesus Christ's teachings. Sexual Morality deals with the sexual relation between two people as we name them husband and wife. It 'also says about the good and evil in the world.Sexualethics centered in love can give principled structure without legalistic absolutes. They will press towards the principle of single standards (not doubt ones) for sexual morality. The same basic considerations apply equally to the male and female, to the aged and the young, the married and unmarried, the able to bodied and differently-able, the homosexual and heterosexual. A sexual ethic of this type will be neither legalistic nor normless. It will place considerable responsibility upon the individual and it a life. It will be sensitive to concrete situations, motivations, and relationships. It will be centered upon person's more than abstract concepts. If past Christian sexual ethics were rooted in a deep suspicion of the body and its desire and hence placed primary emphasis upon the discipline and channeling of sexual expression, the present task is to shape an ethic which, without ignoring its destructive capacity, seeks fundamentally to enhance sexuality's power to contribute to human fulfillment in communion. Love's source is god and a Christian sexual ethic of love takes its content from faith's perceptions of god's ways with humankind-in divine creativity, in reconciliation, and in sustaining, fulfilling, liberating, and justice making activity.Sexualdesire is mated with desire for communion with and fulfillment in the other and with a strong element of mutuality and friendship and the transformative power of self-giving.
